Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

What You'll Do:
Support the classroom teacher and provide small-group or one-on-one help to students. Encourage and guide students as they work toward their learning goals. Supervise students during recess, lunch, and other school activities. Help manage behavior with positivity and patience. Use creativity and energy to inspire a love of learning. Be part of a collaborative team that's committed to making school a joyful, safe, and successful place for kids.What We're Looking For:
A positive role model who enjoys working with children in grades K-6. Someone dependable and ready to be present for students Monday through Friday. Ability to supervise children safely and effectively. Experience tutoring, mentoring, or teaching children (formal or informal) is a plus. Comfortable using basic educational technology. Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check. A teaching license is not required (but licensed teachers are welcome to apply).
