Montessori School is looking for teachers who: View young children as human beings deserving of the highest respect for their unique wisdom, thoughts, feelings, and intuition Are passionate about our natural world and about working with children to create habits of environmental stewardship Enjoy the world of food and feel compelled to share with young children the joys of a high-quality culinary experience Truly and fundamentally enjoy being around children Are interested in a career, not just a job Are available for full-time, in-person work Job duties include: caring for young children through safe and effective care practices implementing Montessori educational principles for toddler education assisting with feeding, meals, and diapering consistent and effective communication with lead teacher and other assistants maintaining a clean learning environment by using safe hand-washing practices and assisting in cleaning eating, play, and sleep areas dailyBenefits:

While experience teaching and/or working in a school is not necessary, we deeply value your interest in investing in young children and their education. We do look for the following as we consider candidates to join our team: High School Diploma or GED Some experience in early childhood education Ability to function in an active, flexible, and high volume environment Ability to tolerate the year-round outdoor environment through all weather conditions A clean criminal history record We rely on employees who are: dependable- consistent attendance and focus adaptable/flexible
