Job Description

Job Description Lee County Program Assistant will provide office support to office staff and faculty. The position will assist with answering phones, preparing materials, and greeting clients. They will help faculty and staff with programming and events including organizing, preparing food, delivering programs, taking registration, and providing supervision to youth participants if needed. The Program Assistant will also help with the cleaning and maintenance of the office. This is a part-time 1500 hour wage position housed in the Lee County Extension Office in Pennington Gap, VA. Virginia Tech is unable to sponsor applicants for work visas for this vacancy. Required Qualifications Strong communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and the internet. Strong experience as a team player. Pay Band 1
