JOB TITLE

Teacher Aide

FSLA:

Non-exempt

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma

Must pass Paraprofessional Assessment or complete 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree

Experience working with children preferred

Highly motivated; able to multitask

Demonstrates effective communication skills

Able to lift 40 lbs. to shoulder height occasionally

Able to operate personal computer, laptop computer, peripheral computer equipment, photocopier, fax machine, and other office equipment with a high degree of accuracy

Understands child growth and behavior

Demonstrates leadership ability with children

Exhibits creativity and innovation

Assist in instructional activities as assigned

Complies with School Board policies and regulations
