Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster early development, encourage curiosity, and promote positive social interactions. Duties Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, motor skills, and language acquisition Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Engage with children through positive interactions, encouraging exploration and socialization Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to identify and report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Support classroom management strategies to foster respectful behavior and emotional security among infants Requirements Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in First Aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure safety during emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment Commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing space that supports each child's individual growth Join us in shaping the earliest stages of children's lives! $23.47 - $28.27 per hour
