Work with us! We are a Christian , full-day, year-round preschool located in Falls Church, VA, serving children ages 18 months to 5 years old. We are a ministry of Columbia Baptist Church whose mission is to "Ignite passion for Jesus Christ from Metro Washington to the world." We are looking for an Assistant Teacher who is a Christian (any denomination) and who shares our values and dedication to creating a nurturing, faith-based environment for young children in our Full Day Program (8 am to 5 pm). The ideal candidate additionally should have a minimum of one year (twelve months) of experience as an Assistant Teacher in a Preschool Center.

Our Assistant Teacher will:

Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines. Help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment both indoors and outdoors. Assist with meals, classroom transitions, and supervising play. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom by tidying up, sanitizing toys and surfaces, and assisting with light cleaning tasks throughout the day. Step in to support other classrooms as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Ensure classroom compliance with preschool licensing requirements. Qualified candidates will have previous classroom experience working with preschool-age children and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
