Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work closely with lead teachers to support classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and contribute to the development of our students' educational experiences. This role is particularly suited for individuals who have a strong interest in childhood development and special education, especially those who can effectively communicate and engage with children, including those with autism. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and curriculum development tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. Engage with students in classroom activities, promoting positive behavior management techniques. Support children with special needs by adapting instructional methods and materials as necessary. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere. Help maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development. Experience Previous experience working in a classroom setting is preferred, particularly in private school environments. Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with children on the autism spectrum is highly desirable. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and lesson planning is beneficial. A background in childhood development will be advantageous for understanding the needs of young learners. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students and colleagues.
