Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Help facilitate classroom activities that promote literacy education, numeracy skills, and social-emotional learning. Use educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences for young children. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student needs, including those with disabilities or autism, providing tailored support as needed. Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings or classroom environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and educational compliance regulations such as ESSA. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment through effective supervision and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Familiarity with special education practices, literacy education, math instruction for young learners, and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus. Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies to support classroom activities. Demonstrated ability to mentor children positively while fostering independence and confidence.
