As a First Grade Afternoon Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to: Support students during lessons and classroom activities Work individually or in small groups with children who need extra help Encourage students and help build their confidence Assist with classroom routines, organization, and transitions Help maintain a warm, positive, and productive learning environment The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with young learners and is patient, dependable, and energetic. Experience working with children is helpful, but a genuine love for children, patience, reliability, and a willingness to learn are most important.
