Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our educational community. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster curiosity, promote developmental growth, and ensure that each child feels valued and supported. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while developing your skills in education and child development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and motor skills activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment for children Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities that promote creativity and learning Help monitor individual progress and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with special needs Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood education Support classroom routines such as meal times, nap times, diapering or toileting assistance, and transitions between activities Assist in maintaining classroom cleanliness, organization of educational materials, and adherence to health and safety protocols Experience Prior experience working with young children in preschool or childcare settings is preferred Knowledge of early childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies Experience supporting children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly valued Classroom management skills combined with patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills Join us to inspire young minds through engaging lessons, compassionate care, and dedicated teamwork.
