What You'll Do As a Teacher Assistant / Floating Teacher, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our classrooms run smoothly and our children feel safe, nurtured, and inspired.

Your responsibilities will include:

Classroom Support & Coverage Step in as a substitute teacher or provide coverage when staff are absent or on breaks. Assist with lunch breaks, restroom breaks, and other staff needs.

Maintain classroom ratios:

2-year-olds: 1:8 3-year-olds: 1:10 4-year-olds: 1:10 5-9 years old: 1:20 9-12 years old: 1:25 Instructional & Daily Activity Support Assist lead teachers with daily routines such as Bible time and circle time. Engage children in safe and fun indoor and outdoor play. Redirect and comfort children to encourage positive behavior. Support potty training, bathroom routines, and changing pull-ups. Health & Safety Conduct daily health checks to ensure the well-being of children. Clean and sanitize classrooms at the end of the day, including tasks like vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning tables and chairs. Communication & Parent Interaction Greet parents warmly during arrival and dismissal times. Share important updates with parents and lead teachers. Team Collaboration Follow instructions from lead teachers and assist wherever needed. Float between classrooms to meet ratio requirements and provide staff support.
