Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities Showing children compassion and empathy while supporting their individual needs Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment Engage with children through interactive play, educational activities, and individualized attention to promote development in areas such as language, literacy, and numeracy Help prepare classroom materials, set up learning stations, and organize resources for effective lesson delivery Collaborate with team members to develop tailored curriculum approaches that meet diverse student needs, including children with disabilities or special education requirements Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including proper childcare practices and early childhood education standards Ensure parent communication is done professionally (both written and verbally) Ensure all required paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques that foster a positive learning environment Knowledge of special education strategies, including working with children with autism or other disabilities Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing literacy and math instruction for young learners Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when supporting individual student needs Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 18 years or older Preferred Qualifications Child Development Associate (CDA) credential Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a related field Current enrollment in a related degree or credentialing program 1+ years of experience working with young children in a professional capacity

Additional Requirements:
