Job Description
All Paraprofessionals must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent. Additionally, Paraprofessionals must be qualified through one of the following options:
Complete two years of study at an institution of higher education; or
Obtain an associate's (or higher) degree (must provide supporting documents)
Newly hired paraprofessionals who do not meet one of these requirements will be required to certify through the Parapro assessment as soon as possible after being hired as noted below:
Meet a proficiency target of 332 in the reading/writing portion and 334 in the math portion on the paraprofessional standardized assessment.
When completing new hire paperwork paraprofessionals will receive direction on how to begin the process of scheduling your Parapro assessment.
