Green Street School in Brattleboro Vermont located near beautiful downtown Brattleboro has an opening for a long-term substitute as a classroom paraprofessional for the first semester of the 2026-27 school year in our 1st grade (ending in December 23rd). We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team amazing staff who is willing to work with students in grade levels K-6 and provide social, emotional, academic, as well as behavioral support. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in exploring and learning various aspects of classroom teaching. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of our students. This position also provides a valuable stepping stone for those interested in pursuing a career in education. This job includes, but is not limited to the following opportunities:
Assist the classroom teacher in implementing instructional activities and lesson plans.
Collaborate with the teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
