Job description We are seeking a dependable, flexible, and engaging educator to join our teaching team as a Support Teacher. This position provides classroom support across our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs throughout the day, working collaboratively with lead teachers to create safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. The ideal candidate is reliable, consistent, and comfortable adapting to the needs of different classrooms and age groups. Candidates should have a strong understanding of child development and early childhood best practices, along with the ability to build warm, responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. We are looking for someone who: Is dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent presence for children and teaching teams Understands the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Approaches children with warmth, patience, curiosity, and respect Can confidently support classroom routines, transitions, play, and learning experiences Communicates clearly and professionally with teachers, administrators, and families Works collaboratively and is comfortable receiving feedback and direction Demonstrates good judgment, initiative, and awareness of children's health and safety Is flexible and able to move between classrooms as program needs change Values relationship-based, play-centered, and developmentally appropriate early childhood education The position is available to begin as soon as possible and may be extended into the 2027-2028 school year for the right fit. This is an hourly position.

Salary:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20-30 per week
