Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. Your expertise in behavior management and classroom management will help foster an engaging atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all students. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children. Engage with children through hands-on activities, play, and educational games to enhance their learning experience. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational program that meets the diverse needs of all students. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and conducive to learning at all times. Experience A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable. Skills in behavior management and classroom management are essential for maintaining an effective learning environment. Previous experience in caregiving or nannying can be beneficial for understanding the needs of young children. Familiarity with first aid practices is a plus to ensure the safety of all students. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is valued as we strive for an inclusive environment for all learners.
