Charlotte Central School (CCS) is seeking an energetic paraprofessional to join our school team for the remainder of FY26. We are looking for a skilled, caring individual to assist, supervise, and provide support to all assigned students/groups as directed by a licensed professional. The candidate will be an advocate of inclusive education, a problem-solver and strong collaborator, and a positive team member. The ability to promote child growth, foster independence, and a willingness to learn are essential. Please note that lifting may be a requirement of this job. Primary Responsibilities Supporting instructional activities (including behavioral instruction), developed and adjusted as required by a designated professional Collecting data to share with designated professional(s) Supervising students when assigned, including lunch and recess, and before/after school duties Fostering independence so that students can fully participate in school activities Communicate with appropriate educational personnel and related service providers Participate in team meetings upon request Provide support for students on bus route Provide substitute coverage as assigned The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to be a contributing member to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
