Immediately Job Description Eden Central School is seeking a special education paraprofessional to provide 1:1 support for a student. Support will be needed to help integrate this student with classroom activities and routines, as well as personal care support. Personal care support involves help with toileting and some feeding. Compensation of an additional $2.00 an hour above the paraeducator pay rate is available for help with personal care services. Candidates that possess qualities of flexibility, creativity, experience with young children will be given the highest consideration. Experience in using an Augmentative Alternative Communication(AAC) device is helpful, or the willingness to learn how to utilize the AAC to support the student is encouraged. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and either two years of higher education or evidence of passing the ParaPro Assessment. LNSU provides a generous compensation and benefit package and is an EOE.
