Immediately Job Description Eden Central School is looking to hire a PreK Special Education Behavior Interventionist to serve in the role of 1:1 BI and "Pod" or small group BI supporting identified children throughout the day. This position will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Specialist. We will train the right person.
Skills:
  • Establishes relationships and communicates with teachers and administrators,
  • Implement and takes data relevant to the student specific behavior plan
  • Attends required meetings that discuss behavior,
  • Must be willing to receive training in Handle with Care strategies,
  • Work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of a team,
  • Ability and willingness to think "outside the box"
  • Dedicated to the success of children
  • Participate in professional development activities to improve skills related to job assignment
  • Maintain positive relationships with the building administration, parents, other staff, and students in the buildings
