Immediately Job Description Troy School is looking for a classroom paraprofessional. This is a full-time position up to 7.5 hours per day, school session. Position includes working with individual students and students in small groups who exhibit learning, social, and emotional needs. Our school's mission is to strive to provide a safe and positive learning environment where all students reach their highest potential. Our priority is to build strong partnerships with the community, parents, teachers, and students to create responsible citizens of the future.
Specific Position Requirements/Qualifications:
Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively within a team environment and a willingness to participate in training opportunities. Physical stamina, positive energetic attitude, openness to new learning, and willingness and desire to work with students are required.
Salary & Benefits:
As per Support Staff Agreement. Hourly rate will range between $20.35 and $23.00 depending on previous experience and education. Candidates must meet the district's requirements: a minimum of 48 college credits; or successfully passing the Para Pro or Master Teacher assessment tests.
