We are seeking a Full-Time Teacher Assistant to join our team for the school year. This position works Monday through Friday from 1:30-5:30 PM, following the school‑based calendar. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with children, values social‑emotional development, and wants to grow as an educator in a supportive, reflective environment. Position Type:

Part-time, school year How We Support Our Staff Paid school breaks On-the-job training and ongoing professional support, including: Understanding the functions of behavior and what children are communicating Practicing current, evidence‑based intervention strategies that support both children and adults Understanding early childhood development and pathology Developing and maintaining positive, healthy child-child and child-adult relationships Supporting appropriate and healthy social‑emotional development Opportunities to develop and expand your professional toolbox, increasing confidence and comfort in supporting children with diverse needs Encouragement to pursue your interests as an educator, with mentorship and guidance Duties & Responsibilities Supporting lead teachers during afternoon programming Engaging with children during indoor and outdoor play Building positive, respectful relationships with children and coworkers Guiding healthy social‑emotional development and peer interactions Helping maintain a safe, responsive, and engaging environment Modeling appropriate and respectful behavior Communicating with families as appropriate about children's experiences Collaborating with team members to support routines and transitions Requirements Experience working with children (formal or informal) Genuine enjoyment of and interest in working with preschool children Strong sense of responsibility and ability to supervise children Energy, flexibility, and a positive mindset Willingness to learn and participate Early Education and Safety Training required Must be capable of lifting Comfortable with adverse weather. We spend as much time outside as possible during the school year.
