Assistant Teacher - Miss Candace's House Early Learning Center Arlington, WA | Full-Time or Part-Time | J oin a joyful, play-based learning community!
About Us:
Miss Candace's House Early Learning Center is a brand-new, high-quality preschool designed to feel like home — warm, welcoming, and full of discovery. Our mission is to nurture curiosity, confidence, and creativity in young children through play-based exploration and meaningful relationships. We're opening our doors April 1, 2026 , and we're building a caring team that believes in the magic of early learning!
Position:
We're seeking energetic and compassionate Assistant Teachers who are excited to support children's growth through play, curiosity, and connection. As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work closely with Lead Teachers to create a loving, engaging classroom where every child feels seen, safe, and celebrated.
Responsibilities:
Support Lead Teachers in daily routines and classroom activities Engage children in hands-on play and learning experiences Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment Foster kindness, cooperation, and curiosity among students Communicate positively with children, families, and team members Assist in implementing curriculum and age-appropriate activities
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Experience working with young children (center, in-home care, or volunteer work) preferred Passionate about early childhood education and creating meaningful relationships Dependable, positive, and eager to learn Willingness to pursue professional development and training
