Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program (LCECP) is seeking a caring person, who is passionate about education, for an Assistant Teacher position.
Position Summary:
Our Assistant Teachers are an important part of the classroom team at LCECP, by supporting all the fun, learning and growing that happens in the classroom. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in children's lives. We are looking for a caring person, who enjoys a fast-paced job. The Assistant Teacher will be responsible for: Greeting children and families with a smile and a positive attitude Assist with preparing activities and lesson plans Conduct health checks and delivery of health curriculum Assist with potty training, which can include diaper changing Contact Human Resources for a full job description.
Education Requirement:
CDA or 30 Early childhood education training hours Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings. Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm 40 hrs. a week/ 37 weeks a year This position is eligible for full dental and health benefits after 90 days. Competitive wage based on education and experience.
