Position OverviewThe Lead Infant Teacher serves as the primary caregiver and educator within the infant classroom. Position Overview This unique position supports both the infant and toddler classrooms and is ideal for an educator who enjoys building relationships across multiple age groups. The Infant/Toddler Support Teacher provides continuity of care, assists with classroom operations, supports children's learning and development, and serves as a trusted partner to teaching staff and families. This individual is flexible, dependable, nurturing, collaborative, and capable of supporting a variety of classroom needs throughout the day. Responsibilities Support daily classroom operations. Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, and supervision. Prepare classroom materials and learning experiences. Support children's social-emotional development. Assist during transitions and outdoor activities. Provide classroom coverage as needed. Support family engagement and communication. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness. Collaborate with teaching staff to support children's success. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Washington State Background Clearance. Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification. Ability to work effectively with children, families, and teaching teams. Preferred Washington State ECE Initial Certificate. Child Development Associate (CDA). Associate Degree (AA/AAS) in Early Childhood Education or related field. Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working in licensed childcare programs. Bilingual or multilingual abilities welcomed. Physical Requirements Lift and carry children up to 40 pounds. Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and floor work. Active participation in indoor and outdoor activities. Ability to move quickly and safely throughout the classroom environment.

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
