Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Staff/Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities tailored to preschool and early childhood development. Support children with their individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment. Supervise and engage children during playtime, meal times, nap times, and other daily routines to promote safety and well-being. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment by following health and safety protocols, including basic first aid when necessary. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage respectful interactions and social-emotional growth among children. Skills Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying is highly valued. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management techniques. Ability to provide first aid and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Compassionate caregiving skills for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining a nurturing environment.
