Competitive hourly pay based on experience About the Opportunity ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated ASL Paraprofessional for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Lynnwood, Washington. This position supports a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) regional program serving students and neighboring school districts throughout the area. The program supports individuals from Pre-K through age 22. The ideal candidate will be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and comfortable providing interpreting and communication support within a school environment. Responsibilities Provide ASL interpreting and communication support within the DHH program. Provide interpreting services for Deaf Teachers and Deaf Paraprofessionals who are direct district employees. Support effective communication between Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals and hearing staff, students, and school personnel. Assist with communication needs throughout classroom and school activities. Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, special education staff, and related service providers. Support students across a variety of age groups and educational settings. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication throughout the school day. Qualifications Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) required. Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDIs) and Certified Sign Language Interpreters are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in a school-based or DHH setting preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable working with individuals ranging from Pre-K through age 22.
