Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Support student learning and help create an engaging educational environment as a paraprofessional in a thriving school setting near Seattle, Washington. This contract position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in students' academic and social development. Located in Lynnwood, WA, the school benefits from its proximity to Everett, Snohomish, Marysville, and Lake Stevens, providing easy access for candidates in surrounding communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities and supporting classroom management Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs Help prepare learning materials and maintain an organized classroom environment Foster positive student relationships and encourage respectful behavior Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teaching team Support students during transitions and non-instructional periods such as lunch and recessQualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional or similar educational support role is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and families Patience, empathy, and a dedication to supporting student success Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team Basic knowledge of educational technology and classroom tools is a plus Relevant paraprofessional certification or coursework may be required in some casesBenefits:
