This position is for a school district. Interested candidates will be required to fill out a school district application on our website.

Schedule:

6.5 hours per day as scheduled by the principal, as well as occasional after school time for phone calls, home visits, meetings, activities, and events as scheduled.

Contract:

180 school days (adjusted based on hire date). There will be additional paid time beyond the 180 days for required training and other events.

Position:

Provide Spanish translation services to the school and families. Paraeducators provide small group and individual instruction in math, reading, English language skills, and other content as assigned. Provide student supervision in a variety of settings A comprehensive list of paraeducator responsibilities in the attached job description.

Ability to speak Spanish fluently Proven ability to read and write Spanish and translate documents Experience working with others of diverse backgrounds Evidence of strong computer skills Speaking Mixtec is not required, but would be extremely helpful.
