Job Description

The Shyne School is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Afternoon Aide for our Rainbow Class , working with toddlers and young preschool-aged children, 2 to 3 years old. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in early childhood education while maintaining a predictable, part-time afternoon schedule.

Key Responsibilities Child Supervision & Engagement:
Supervise children safely in the classroom, during outdoor play, restroom breaks, and diaper changes.
Daily Activities:
Lead storytime, help manage snack times, and foster a fun, positive learning environment.
Family Partnerships:
Warmly greet parents and provide brief updates during evening pick-ups.
Light Facility Care:
Assist with closing the kitchen and rolling out trash cans every other week. [1, 2] Qualifications Prior experience working with young children is required.
