Job Description
Overview The Clintonville School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. Paraprofessionals assist the Special Education Teacher in providing academic support and other services to students. This role is essential in supporting students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in classroom settings and a passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment. Our school district offers a conveniently located daycare facility near our schools. This allows employees to be close to their children throughout the day, and helps make daily routines more manageable. Responsibilities Provide support to students in various educational settings, including classroom activities, group work, and one-on-one instruction. Facilitate behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement among students. School bus supervision may be required May include swimming or driving, per job description Qualifications Applicants must be eligible for state certification as a Special Education Aide. Two years post-secondary education preferred or current participation in district certification classes. Experience working with children ; ideally, in a classroom setting. Must be self-motivated. Lifting may be required, and must be willing to assist students with self-cares. Confidentiality is a must.
