Job Description

These positions support the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Planning, implementing, instructing, and inspiring volleyball players ranging from elementary age through middle school.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Instructor plans instruction for program and guiding the player through the skills and lessons. Create a safe, inclusive, and fun training environment that supports the players growth and development. Collaborate and communicate with leadership regarding athlete development, program planning and or concerns. Be comfortable working to implement the Mission Statement of the YMCA. The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is a non-profit charitable association dedicated to putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
REQUIREMENTS
At least one year of competitive Volleyball or related teaching experience required, to include volleyball terms and skills and ability to break skills down to a teachable level. Requires significant use of hands, arms and body, as well as the ability to lift up to 50 lbs to set up and take down volleyball nets safely Must be able to effectively communicate and actively interact with customers. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills and the ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
WAGE SCALE
Starting at $9.50-11.00; based on experience
WORK DAYS

$9.50 - $11.00 per hour
