Job Description
The School District of Glenwood City has a paraeducator position available for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful applicant will have the ability to utilize excellent communication skills with students, staff and administration, maintain confidentiality, follow through on oral and written instructions, exercise sensible judgment, and supervise students in various settings. Applicants should also be an independent thinker, flexible with routine, and hold students to high expectations. Other duties include working with curriculum under the direction of the classroom teacher and administration to provide quality educational services that support the student goals, with a possibility of providing transportation services related to student IEP needs. Starting wage is $17.04 (which will increase pending board approval for the 2026-2027 school year). The full-time position includes a benefit package of Health, Dental and Life Insurance, Retirement and TSA. An option of an additional hourly rate increase if health insurance is not taken.
