Auto Body Technician Job Overview We are 14000 sq ft Body / Mechanical shop seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. We are not a flat rate production shop. We are focused on repairing vehicles correctly back to the manufacturer's specifications. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition following accidents or damage. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude, be ready to work in a family-oriented environment, and have experience in auto body repair, automotive structural repair, and cosmetic restoration, ensuring high-quality work that meets safety standards and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel alignment, and frame straightening to restore vehicle integrity. Conduct automotive structural repairs to ensure the safety and durability of repaired vehicles. Carry out cosmetic repairs such as paintless dent removal, scratch removal, and surface refinishing to enhance vehicle appearance. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks, ensuring precision and safety. Install automotive parts accurately, including replacement panels, bumpers, and other components as needed. Assess vehicle damage to determine the scope of repairs required and prepare detailed repair plans. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with estimators and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs. Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair, automotive structural repair, and cosmetic restoration. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to auto body work. Knowledge of automotive dent repair techniques and parts installation procedures. Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, diagrams, and work orders. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Pay:
$20.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
