Fox Lake Correctional Institution (Fox Lake, WI) Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility ( Milwaukee, WI) Position Summary Medical Program Assistant - Associate is responsible for providing program assistance to supervisory, professional, and administrative staff. His/her/their responsibilities will include the maintenance of records of personnel and business transactions, assembling medical records, preparation and handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence using computers and word processing software, preparation of service utilization reports, typing, filing, telephone calls, and other duties as assigned. Salary Information This position is in pay schedule/range 02/11 with a starting pay rate of $25.04 /hour, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensations Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must maintain certification in BLS by the American Heart Association and training in the use of the AED and have the ability to perform BLS and/or first aid to prevent loss of life and relieve suffering until appropriate care arrives.
