Catholic Charities - Driftless Pass Catholic Charities is seeking a compassionate, motivated Part-Time Special Education Support Specialist to join our team at Driftless Pass . This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing individualized academic and behavioral support in a supportive, mission-driven environment. Position Overview Under the supervision of the Program Director and coordinator, the Special Education Support Specialist works directly with students by providing mentoring, behavior management support, and tutoring aligned with each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This role also partners closely with teachers and paraprofessionals to help maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment.
Schedule & Hours Part-time:
20-29 hours per week Hours fall between 8:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $16.00-$19.00 per hour (based on education and experience) Part-time benefits include: Personal Leave Time (PLT) Holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Qualifications & Requirements Ability to engage in physical activity throughout the day (50%-75% of time spent moving and on your feet) Prepared for appropriate physical interactions when supporting students Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required Must pass a background check and driving record check Why Join Catholic Charities?
