Until Filled Job Description This position is at Humke Elementary School. The position requires individuals to work at HES 6 hours a day Monday- Friday (adjusted schedule on Wednesday).

Qualifications:
Because of the potential need to assist students in many different classroom settings, the individual assigned to this position must be capable of effective collaboration with teachers and support staff throughout the building. Demonstration of successful experience working with children, including evidence of ability to work effectively with children with special needs, is required for this position. Evaluation of the qualifications of applicants will include consideration of previous employment in a similar assignment and any education or training which may be applicable. Staff members serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings. It is the staff member's legal responsibility to help instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.
