Full-Time, Monday-Friday The Learning Experience
  • Oak Creek is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to build or continue a career in childcare. You'll work alongside experienced Lead Teachers to create safe, engaging classrooms where children learn through play, exploration, and positive relationships. Key Responsibilities Support Lead Teachers with daily classroom routines and learning activities Engage children through play, art, music, movement, sensory activities, and hands-on learning Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance Help prepare classroom activities and learning materials Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Build positive relationships with children and families Collaborate with teachers and center leadership Provide classroom and ratio coverage as needed Follow Wisconsin childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous daycare, preschool, childcare, or experience working with children preferred CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Patient, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to meet Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $16
