What You'll Do Assist with implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, structured, and engaging classroom Help provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences Build positive and trusting relationships with children Communicate professionally with parents, children, and team members Assist with documenting children's development and progress Utilize technology to support classroom documentation and child progress reports Respond to children's emotions and individual needs with patience and empathy Help establish age-appropriate classroom expectations and routines Participate in classroom activities, transitions, meals, and daily routines Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Be creative, enthusiastic, and engaged in your work Work collaboratively with Lead Teachers and school leadership Follow COA policies and applicable state licensing requirements Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow into a Lead Teacher role What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to build a career in early childhood education.
