Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, kind, patient and loving individual to support the leadership team in the operation of the center. Hours are 8:30-5:30pm. Candidate should be detail oriented, a strong leader, and have effective communication skills. A minimum of 3 years working in a childcare center required, and at least 1 year in a leadership role preferred. Candidate should be comfortable working with children of all ages. This position will involve working in a classroom. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: Assist the leadership team with planning, managing, marketing, and directing a childcare program. Teach and monitor children when needed. Maintain center paperwork, keeping files on each child and proof of meeting government regulations. Supervise and evaluate teachers, provide mentoring and training to help teachers improve their skills. Work with the director and assistant director to establish, evaluate, and revise curriculum. Facilitating the combining of classrooms at the end of the day to ensure staff are able to leave at scheduled times while maintaining state mandated ratios
