Teaching Assistants/Paraprofessionals

Responsibilities Assist classroom teachers with lesson implementation, including preparing materials and setting up activities aligned with curriculum goals. Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring they engage fully in classroom activities. Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to reinforce literacy, math, and other core subjects, adapting strategies for individual learning styles. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques, creating a safe and respectful environment. Help facilitate inclusive activities that promote social-emotional development and encourage positive interactions among students. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments is preferred. Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments such as Montessori or traditional settings.
