9680911-53402 Job Description Take your passion for supporting students to the next level by stepping into a contract paraprofessional position in the vibrant community near Racine, WI! This is a full-time opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year, offering you the chance to make a positive impact across a variety of educational settingselementary, middle, and high school. Youll collaborate closely with educators and specialists, providing essential support to students with intellectual disabilities and those exhibiting behavioral needs. Enjoy a consistent 35-hour work week while contributing to the success of learners across different grade levels.
What Were Looking For:
Active paraprofessional certification or eligibility with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Educational requirements: associates degree, 48 college credits, or the ability to pass the WorkKeys exam (reimbursement available for exam cost) Experience or strong interest in working with students with special needs, especially those with intellectual disabilities and behavioral plans Ability to engage and communicate effectively with students and support their educational goals Proven reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative attitude Must provide a supervisor reference before interviewing
Your Day-to-Day:
Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs Implement individualized strategies as directed by educational teams and IEPs Assist with classroom management and activities across school settings Support students with daily tasks, communication, and behavior interventions Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and team members to track student progress Ready to cultivate your skills and make a significant difference?
