Renewal Unlimited is seeking Teacher Assistants for our Head Start classroom in Reedsburg. This team-oriented position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during the school year from mid-August into mid-June. There are currently 2 positions available.

Key Responsibilities:

Works under the direction of the Teacher to follow curriculum, spark creativity and help with school readiness goals Eats with the children, creating a nurturing environment, encouraging healthy eating & social interactions. Assists the Teacher in updating children's Education Assessments Assists in assessing children for developmental skill progressions and entering the data into a software program within State Day Care Licensing and Federal Performance Standards. Completes vision and hearing screenings Assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Teacher in the Teacher's absence Carries out other activities as outlined by the Teacher Follow Wisconsin Daycare Licensing Rules & Head Start Standards Must complete agency paid Early Childhood I & II classes within 6 months of hire.
