A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. The center is looking for a part time and/or full time assistant teacher, to fill in when teachers are out or to assist our lead teachers when there is a large number of children present. Teachers will work with all ages ranging from 6 weeks old to 12 years. Scheduled hours will vary on a weekly basis depending on job status, but can also be flexible to your needs. The center will pay to certify you, which is completed on your own time. Our center is committed to maintaining a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for young children, and our hope is to enhance the lives of every child who attends our facility.
