Job Description
♦The primary responsibility of a Center Aide is to work with children that may have special needs within the classroom and assist with various classroom duties. ♦Experience with infant toddlers and 3-5 year old children is preferred. Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Associate (CDA), or Early Childhood Course I and II are preferred or a high school diploma with six months work or volunteer experience with young children is required, Head Start experience is preferred. ♦This position is 7 3/4 hours per day, 31 hours a week. Tuesday - Friday with occasional Mondays for approximately 9 ½ months/year. Wage is $13.78-$16.58 per hour depending on training and experience. ♦Wood County Head Start promotes further educating our staff with monthly trainings as well as provides a tuition reimbursement option for dedicated staff. ♦Benefits include health insurance , retirement , personal and sick time .
