Assistant Infant Teacher Job description Tiny Treasures Daycare and Learning Center is seeking experienced, motivated, early childhood teachers for our center in Charles Town, WV. Teachers must have a love for nurturing and educating young children. Our school is looking for a Assistant Infant Teacher that is kind, patient, knowledgeable and upbeat to join our classroom for children birth to 2 years of age!

Job Responsibilities:

Must have a warm and caring attitude toward working with children and their families Must be dependable and honest Must be flexible and adapt to change throughout the program Build strong relationships and communication with coworkers, enrolled children and families as well as outside service providers. Create a nurturing and positive learning environment encouraging children and staff to grow and develop. Maintain a well-kept classroom that helps ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children. Observe all Tiny Treasures Daycare and Learning Centers policies and procedures and state licensing regulations. Complete all required ongoing professional development trainings.

Requirements:

Completion of one of the following: Associate's or ACDS (Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist) -Preferred WVIT (West Virginia Infant/Toddler) Professional Development First two semesters of ACDS (Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist) for those currently enrolled or ACDS completed 45 hour Infant-Toddler Credential Apply for

Career Pathway Complete 15 hours of approved training each year Child abuse and neglect training First Aid and CPR training This position offers accrued vacation and sick leave.' '
