Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. Overview
- Over 18 years of age
- Available until 6:00 p.m. Monday
- Friday Possess the ability to work with coworkers to effectively engage in a classroom to promote positive behavior and implement preplanned developmentally appropriate learning opportunities
- Have an active WVSTARS account, or be willing to obtain one and be responsible for taking required CEU's in the field
- Willing to attend classes in Child Development as are appropriate to the position Duties
- Work with co-workers to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social emotional, physical, and cognitive development by interacting and engaging in play-based learning opportunities
- Maintain open and effective communication with coworkers, parents and guardians
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies when closed down properly at the end of each day We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
