Job Description

We have been contracted by Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College - Camp Dawson to recruit an instructor for their Medical Assistant for Workforce program, which includes Medical Terminology, Medical Admin. Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy . They are seeking an experienced medical professional with at least seven (7) years of medical experience , including Phlebotomy and EKG , to teach the class. Class schedule attached All curriculum and instructional materials will be provided.

Schedule:
July 27, 2026 - October 12, 2026 Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Instructor Responsibilities Deliver instruction using approved curriculum and materials Evaluate student performance and track attendance and grades in accordance with program policies Maintain regular communication with students regarding their progress Apply effective teaching strategies and continuously seek ways to enhance student learning Incorporate real-world experience into engaging classroom instruction Facilitate hands-on learning and promote student success Instructor Requirements Minimum of 7 years of medical experience, including Phlebotomy and EKG. Knowledge of performing vital signs (pulse, respiratory rate, blood pressure, temperature). Hold a current, verifiable license/registry within the state of the campus location (RN, LPN, or CMA). Teaching or training experience preferred. Ability to teach from an established standardized curriculum.
