Job Description
EDUCATION
: High School Diploma Completion of one of the following: WVIT (West Virginia Infant/Toddler) Professional Development First two semesters of ACDS (Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist) for those currently enrolled or ACDS completed A college course in Infant/Toddler from an accredited college or universityEXPERIENCE
: Must be 18 years of age Have a minimum of 1 year work experience working with childrenREQUIREMENTS

Career Pathway Complete 18 hours of approved training annually Child abuse and neglect training First Aid and CPR training Must have a warm and caring attitude toward working with children and their families Must be dependable and honest Must be flexible and adapt to change throughout the program Must be willing to accept supervision in order to improve work performance Must be physically able to work with young children Responsibilities Assist in the daily care and supervision of infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment. Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans. Monitor children's behavior and development, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs. Adhere to CPR and first aid protocols to ensure the safety of all children.Job Types:
