Daycare Teacher Job Overview Toddler Town Learning Center WY, LLC is looking for a dependable, caring, and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a supportive, team-oriented childcare environment. Our teachers play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can learn, grow, build relationships, and have fun. Previous childcare experience is preferred, but we are also willing to train the right person who is reliable, patient, eager to learn, and passionate about working with children. Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing care while maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment. Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, social skills, and development. Follow classroom schedules and daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, nap time, outdoor play, and learning activities. Supervise children closely and follow all safety and licensing requirements. Use positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior management techniques. Build positive relationships with children and help them feel safe, supported, and included. Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, coworkers, and management. Observe children's development and communicate any concerns or important information appropriately. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom. Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and other daily childcare responsibilities as needed. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to provide consistent, high-quality care. Be dependable, punctual, and ready to actively participate throughout the workday. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, babysitting, or another child-focused setting is preferred. Must enjoy working with young children and have patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Must be dependable and able to work well as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy childcare environment. Willingness to learn and follow childcare licensing requirements, center policies, and classroom procedures. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; training may be available if needed. Must be able to complete all required background checks and employment requirements.
