These jobs may be as follows: surveying lab spaces ensuring the equipment is clean and well maintained, light laundry duties and storage, technology updates for VR equipment and computer laptops. Perform other duties as delegated and appropriate for student work as assigned by nursing and CNA personnel. Reports To Director of Nursing Education/Qualifications Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college Sheridan College Student currently enrolled Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Work as team member Foster a cooperative work environment Possess organizational skills Communicate effectively with nursing personnel Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Work will be performed primarily indoors in a standard office, classroom, clinical lab, or simulated healthcare environment. Subject to walking, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling and stooping - lifting up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other business machines. Near vision sufficient to read written communication and computer display screens. Adequate hearing to communicate efficiently in person and by phone. About Northern Wyoming Community College District Experience Special Instructions to Applicants Job Duties These are the job duties for required of the position. Percentage of time 100% Responsibility/Duty Organize classroom, lab and simulation areas assigned. Organize storage spaces for lab and all nursing supplies as assigned. Run computer updates as directed for VR, simulation manikins or other machines. Assist with basic laundry skills: operating washer and dryer, folding and storing items. Creating lab and simulation spaces as directed by nursing personnel: bed groupings, equipment transport, manikin organization or table re -configuration.
